In the meantime, Theresa gave birth to her oldest child, Kelsey and less than two years later, she brought her son Steven into the world; Kelsey and Steven became the world to Theresa. She obtained her first teaching job in Cohagen, MT in She was a grade school teacher in Cohagen for only one year before getting a full-time teaching job at Marmarth Public School in In Januaryher father, Henry, passed away.
Theresa decided that she would take over and run the ranch just outside of Marmarth. She quit her teaching job in Marmarth after 7 years, and began running the ranch full-time a month later.
Her passion shifted from quarter horses to cattle, although, she never quit loving her horses. Theresa was a keen, hard working business woman who dedicated her life to taking what her father Henry had built and growing it into what it is today, all the while, maintaining and providing for her family and loved ones.
Throughout her early life, Theresa spent her time focusing on her kids and keeping them busy in activities and projects. She was very involved in community functions and served on the Marmarth Community Club for many years. She dedicated a lot of her time to serving others and bettering the community in any way she could. Her generous nature was one of her shining attributes. She enjoyed cooking mostly for other people and was a wonderful chef.
Those who received her snack plates and cheese balls around the holiday season would agree as well. Most of all, she was a loving mother, sister, daughter and friend.
